Harbor Isles Has Two Separate Associations
The Harbor Isles community and the complex are governed and managed by two separate associations and managed by a property management company. The existence of two associations for one complex or community is not uncommon in Florida and is the result of Florida Code and the duration of time a developer is entitled to have before he must formally “phase” the development, eventually leading to multiple associations representing different phases of development.
The Two Associations Have a Shared Amenities Agreement
The community’s amenities and common areas are regulated and managed through a “Shared Amenities” agreement. There are many shared amenities including three pools, two tennis courts, a shuffleboard, clubhouse, and a boardwalk on the river that runs the length of the property. All owners and residents have full access to all amenities and common areas for the entire complex, and social activities include the whole complex community.
Each Association is a Separate Legal Entity
Since each association is a separate legal entity, with a separate board of directors, property manager, condominium fees, you will want to visit both “HI-1 Condo Association” and “HI-2 Condo Association” to get acquainted with the two associations.
